Hi!  This week we will be:

Art 1: Continuing with drawing basic shapes.  Cylinders, spheres and cones. Remember to bring a pencil to class.

Art 2 and up: We will draw be laying our charcoal down for our Portrait drawings. The next step will be to create the grid and then begin erasing the lightest areas of our portraits. We will then begin work on the grey areas

Desktop: Will continue mastering each of the tools used for Indesign

Student Council: Listen up for announcements about the :“Game of the Season”

All those interested see Mr Hogan or speak to me while there is still time to sign up for Easter break in London.  This will be a magnificent trip and you don’t want to miss it.

Hi! This week we will start off with going over the class rules.  They are posted on their own page and are pretty basic, use some common sense and courtesy and you’ll be fine.  Then we will be creating portfolios so that everyone will have a place to keep their work all year long.

Art 1 students will begin learning basic drawing skills.

Art 2 & up will be learning to grid a portrait in charcoal.

Desktop publishing will create folders on their desktops and then becoming familiar with the desktop and tool box used in Adobe Indesign CS3.
